Russ Chimes is definitely a genius, get that right. This guy is the fucking bomb, alright! So I don’t wanna hear anymore complaints about him. “He’s too young”, “He’s new to electro”, “His mum is ugly”. Whatever! Just listen to that track. You get litteraly transported to his world. Djs/producers nowdays just spin shit, and yeah they can use th gears to make you dance, but very few of them tell you a story. Russ chimes is one of them. So, once upon a time…

I like starting with some weird shit like this one. It’s not that weird but it has some unusual sounds. The beat is awesome, the bass funky as shit, and it’s definitely a cool track. So if i ever happened to start a set at 10pm I would clearly put this one first.

I don’t usually post some down tempo tune. But this one is pretty amazing. Mr Trentmoller took Chris Isaac song’s into a whole new electronic level, but keeping the tripping part of the original. Brilliant.

This is an uptempo track. Sounds very Popish but still stays in the spec of Retro-Electro. An Amazing track to mix. So my friends Djs make sure you include this one in your playlist. Enjoy!

Mr Moroder would like that one. It’s pretty deep and wavvy. The ARP applied to the synth sounds very clear and powerful and takes a lot of space in the track. I would have preferred more variations on the kick-snare base. But globally this is a great track.
